Students will be able to discuss the major turning points in the war by creating a human timeline in which they stand in the appropriate order in a line when given the names of specific events, key decisions and important geographic factors.

Lesson Introduction (Anticipatory Set):
The teacher will select students at random and ask them question about the origins of World War 2. Once the teacher has asked several students critical thinking questions the teacher will then show a short video will quickly summarizes some of the major battles in the war and some information about the importance of the battle.

Vocabulary (Content Language Development):
As the unit plan progress important and key vocabulary words will be posted on a word wall in the classroom and students will be quizzed biweekly on the words to ensure students are studying and understanding the meaning of the words.

Content Delivery (Lecture, Inquiry, Reading, Discussion and Debate, DBQ, Concept Formation, Simulation, Problem-Based Learning):
Once Video has been completed the teacher will present the lecture in the form of a Prezi. The presentation will contain notes for the students to write down, videos to watch and discussed during lecture and will be used to complete an activity after the presentation is completed.

During the lecture, the teacher will stop at intermittent times and ask questions to students, have students talk in groups of two and four and take written notes during the lecture.

Demonstrated Learning (Formative & Summative Assessments):
Once lecture if finished, the teacher will select eight students, completely at random, to come to the front of the class. They will be handed a laminated paper with an event from world war two written on it, the students are to arrange themselves in the correct order of the events.. Once completed the class will discuss if they were correct and if they were not how they can fix the order of the students.
